Wow. This was so much better than book one. Like, SO MUCH BETTER. The plot was well-paced, and so interesting, I couldn't stop reading! It made me sad every time I had to put down the book for whatever reason.

The ending shocked me. I was suspecting it before I was even halfway through the book, but I was still surprised when it was confirmed at the end.

I love all of the characters, and the friend group! Jaxon was great, though he got a little bit overprotective of Grace, which was kind of annoying at times, but Macy was so sweet! She's such a great side character, and I'm hoping she gets more attention in the third book so I can read more about her! And Flint was better than the first book, and MEKHI! He's hilarious and such a good character.

In addition to the characters and plot, there was a lot of tension and suspense that had me reading more and more. I grew really attached to the characters, since this is such a long book, but I'm gonna be so sad when the series ends...in four books.

I loved this book and I'm super excited to read Covet.

SLIGHT SPOILER:

Another thing that I really liked about this book was Hudson. It was fun to read about the little arguments he and Grace would have inside of her mind, and because no one else could see him, how he would just make sarcastic comments about whatever was going away, annoying Grace but nobody else.

I really enjoyed this book and I'm looking forward to continuing the series!
